Paris Original has been seen pirouetting across stages throughout the Pacific Northwest, but when a series of fouette turns went awry he stumbled upon the spectacle of Burlesque and knew he’d found a magical world.
A classically trained dancer, Paris made his public Burlesque debut in Paula the Swedish Housewife’s 2009 production of House of Thee UnHoly 3. Following this epic experience Paris joined a newly formed Burlesque troupe called Burlesque Eclectique, which in its brief existence put together a production of Burlesque MacBeth.
Since then Paris has performed in various benefits, fundraisers, and variety cabaret shows including Nightcap with Lily Verlaine, and Tamara the Trapeze Lady’s Broadway Follies. Paris was also featured as a Meteor in The Atomic Bombshells: Lost In Space. He was very proud and honored to be a part of the 2010 Seattle Erotic Art Festival’s main stage production of Cabaret de Curiosites and the Seattle and New York cast of SHINE: a Burlesque Musical.
Paris is half of the dynamic dance duo, The Original Twins, which also stars his twin, Trojan Original. The twins’ choreography has been featured in 12 Minutes Max, a choreography showcase at On the Boards, and as the opening act of a vaudeville show. The Original Twins also perform in trio acts with the Luminous Pariah. In addition to the Original Twins, Paris was also part of GAZM, Seattle’s premiere Boylesque troop, which in its brief existence also featured the talents of the EmpeROAR Fabulous, Jean du Jour and the Luminous Pariah.
Paris is now part of the troupe Mod Carousel, which debuted in Seattle in August 2010 shortly before touring to Alaska and performing for sold out crowds and receiving standing ovations and demands for encores.
